Job Overview:
Our client is currently undergoing a major transformation with the implementation of SAP S/4HANA, a next and seek the expertise of a Retail Business Analyst to join their dynamic team. This role is critical to the success of the project and will focus on driving business process improvements and delivering solutions within the Supplier Portal, specifically with a strong expertise in Merchandising and Finance within the retail industry.
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to ensure the successful delivery of SAP S/4HANA capabilities. Your deep knowledge of merchandising and finance processes in the retail space will be pivotal in shaping the solution design and driving user adoption.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders from Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Finance to understand their needs, document current business processes, and translate them into functional requirements for the SupplierPortal.
- Strong expertise in supplier management systems and portals, with experience managing supplier onboarding, product submission, and pricing workflows.
- Proficient in supply chain management, including inventory, demand planning, and order tracking , as well as expertise in EDI, carrier management, and product recall processes.
- Analytical mindset with a solid track record in reporting and performance analysis, along with a strong focus on process improvement and aligning supplier collaboration with business goals.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. High attention to detail and accuracy are essential
Essential Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing supplier portals or business analysis within supply chain operations.
- Familiarity with Salesforce systems, SAP, EDI solutions, and product lifecycle management.
- Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments with tight deadlines.
- Possesses strong influencing skills.
- Sound business acumen and horizontal collaboration capabilities.
- SAP Signavio experience is a plus.
- Agile/Scrum experience is a bonus.
