SAP SD/MM Consultant - Melbourne Contract Position/ Project role

Are you an experienced SAP SD/MM Functional Consultant looking for your next contract opportunity? We’re seeking a skilled professional with strong functional and configuration expertise in both SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM) to join 3PL integration into SAP.

This is a great opportunity to work with a well-established organisation undergoing several SAP projects and initiatives, where your expertise will play a key role in ensuring a seamless third-party logistics (3PL) integration into their existing SAP system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the functional design, configuration, and implementation of SAP SD/MM solutions for the 3PL integration project
• Work closely with business stakeholders, warehouse teams, and third-party logistics providers to understand requirements and deliver SAP solutions
• Provide functional expertise in SAP SD & MM, ensuring best practices are followed
• Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
• Collaborate with technical teams (developers, integration specialists) to ensure seamless data flow between SAP and 3PL systems, write functional specs for integration and do field mapping
• Support user training and change management to ensure smooth adoption of new processes

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong SAP SD & MM functional expertise, including configuration and process optimisation
• Experience working on 3PL integration projects (essential)
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA environments (highly desirable)
• Ability to liaise with business users, warehouse staff, and IT teams to gather requirements and provide solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
