SAP Purchasing Officer

About the Role

We are seeking a SAP Purchasing Officer to manage end-to-end procurement activities, ensuring timely, cost-effective supply of goods and services while maintaining strong supplier relationships and inventory performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Raise and manage purchase orders in line with demand and inventory targets
• Liaise with suppliers on pricing, lead times, delivery and issue resolution
• Source and evaluate suppliers, quotations and tenders to achieve best value
• Monitor inventory levels and support demand forecasting and stock optimisation
• Maintain accurate data in the SAP system (products, suppliers, reorder settings)
• Coordinate freight and deliveries, including international shipments
• Monitor supplier performance and support continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain
• Experience working with in a SAP or SAP S/4 HANA environment
• Srong understanding of procure-to-pay and inventory management processes
• Strong attention to detail with good organisational skills
• Confident communicator and collaborative team player
• Medium to Advanced Excel
• A flexible & adaptable attitude
