SAP Hybris Technical Architect

This role will play a pivotal helping not only set up the SAP Practice for an exciting Global Digital agency but also play a key role in delivery a large-scale SAP Hybris project for a blue chip client.

This global organisation is looking to further expand into the Australian market, having already successfully established themselves as leader in the Salesforce and Magento space they are now looking to grow further into the SAP Hybris space
About the role
This role will play a pivotal helping not only set up the SAP Practice for an exciting Global Digital agency but also play a key role in delivery a large-scale SAP Hybris project for a blue-chip client. This role will be the SAP Commerce (Hybris) Technical Architect and will be responsible for translating the client's business requirements into a specific e-commerce system, application or process designs. This will involve working with client personnel and executives to identify functional requirements and subsequently working with and leading others in the identification, justification and design of the client's solution.
Duties
- Overall responsibilities for the technical design and architect for the SAP Hybris Solution
- Work closely with clients and developers on resolving issues related to design and requirements
- Help set up the overall governance, processes and procedures
- Participate in discovery phase
- Provide estimation of business requirements
- Highlight possible flows and inconsistencies in business requirements
- Work closely with software architects and business analysts to ensure requirements are crystal clear and properly translated into work packages
Skills & experience
- Minimum of 8 years of overall experience in which at least 2 years of strong experience in SAP Hybris Commerce Suite.
- At least one implementation experience on SAP Hybris Cloud version
- Deep understanding of SAP Hybris architecture
- Experience in designing B2B, multi-site and multi-country, end-to-end implementations of eCommerce platforms
- Good knowledge in Spartacus integration
- Clear understanding of Hybris ecommerce modules: cart, personalization, CMS, smartedit, ASM, PCM, promotions, checkout, order management and customer service
- Experience in integrating with other applications within SAP Hybris and with backend SAP
- Experience in architecting large Hybris implementations and mentoring leads to do excellent Design
- Must be able to independently handle overall architectural designs, envision NFR's and implement it
- Should be able to quickly analyse the fitment of SAP Hybris commerce for the business problem, identify gaps and suggest solution around SAP Hybris with minimum customization
