Job Title: SAP Finance System Accountant (Permanent) – Adelaide

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Finance System Accountant to join a dynamic finance team in Adelaide. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with hands-on SAP experience who is looking to further develop their expertise in cost accounting, controlling, and financial reporting.

In this role, you will have a particular focus on Profit Centre Accounting, Cost Centre Accounting, and Cost Allocations, ensuring accurate financial tracking and insightful reporting across the business. You will also leverage SAP to drive data analytics, reporting, and process improvement initiatives, supporting strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain SAP financial modules, particularly controlling and cost accounting functions.
• Perform detailed Profit Centre and Cost Centre Accounting, including allocations and reconciliations.
• Generate, analyse, and interpret financial reports and data from SAP to provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with finance and operational teams to improve financial processes and systems.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

What We’re Looking For:

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience working with SAP Finance modules.
• Strong understanding of Cost Accounting and Controlling, including Profit Centre and Cost Centre Accounting.
• Experience with SAP reporting and data analytics is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
