SAP Finance Business Process Owner

We are seeking an experienced SAP Finance Business Process Owner (BPO) to join a major S/4HANA ERP implementation. This role will be pivotal in defining and managing finance processes globally, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and optimising costing and profitability structures. The successful candidate will act as the bridge between Finance and IT, providing subject matter expertise and guiding the business through system design, testing, and deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of global finance structures in S/4HANA, including general ledger mapping, cost centre, and profit centre hierarchies.
• Drive financial reporting frameworks, ensuring accurate and usable outputs for leadership and executive teams.
• Partner with business units and IT to capture requirements, facilitate workshops, and resolve process or system gaps.
• Support UAT, data migration, and validation activities to ensure integrity of finance data.
• Contribute to training materials and knowledge transfer for finance teams.

Essential Experience:

• Strong SAP S/4HANA expertise with experience in global ERP implementations.
• Demonstrated experience with financial reporting, costing, and profitability analysis.
• Proven ability to work with CFOs, Finance leadership, and executive stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable:

• Experience in large-scale finance transformation projects.
• Knowledge of multi-entity and international finance operations.
