The Role
As a Senior Technical Analyst role you will be tasked with delivering IT improvements across CRM streams. With a program of work planned and additional work in future this is a key role for the business to work on system improvements and upgrades.
About the company
Working for a federal government department providing key services to Australia working on an SAP S/4 HANA project.
Duties
- Responsible for delivery of an optimal strategic system landscape
- Oversee the design, installation and operation of the ICT system instance landscape, client and transport processes
- Provide broad technical support for project build, test and solution deployment activities
- Oversee all non-functional platform capabilities, including job scheduling, output management, email, archiving, technical security, technical connectivity between software components
- Liaise with the infrastructure team in the design, procurement and deployment of hardware and related assets
- Oversee the regular maintenance of patches and support packages for all technical layers
- Oversee the operation of backup, high availability and disaster recovery solutions for ICT systems
- Oversee the management of data archiving to forecast infrastructure growth
- Oversee the operations of teams, including providing a clear sense of direction, setting work priorities and managing resources
- Set direction by contributing and aligning to local business plans and ICT strategies
- Drive innovation, continuous improvement and manage and lead change
Key Experience;
- Proficient in SAP Development tools for customising and extending S/4 HANA functionalities in an on-premise implementation.
- Experience in building and deploying applications with the SAP Environment, particularly in government ecosystems.
- Knowledge of data management techniques, including data archiving and data base optimisation.
- Experience with SAP BTP for development and integration (SAP PI/PO or CPI would be beneficial)
- Ability to work closely with functional teams to develop technical solutions to meet requirements prepare a range of technical documentation and reports
