SAP Technical Lead

The Role

Technical lead required to manage the SAP environment for a retail end user company in Melbourne. This role will be an integral part of the technical team. You will manage, maintain and resolve issues across the SAP landscape as well as guide architecture decisions and input to technical strategy. This will involve working closely with stakeholders and working closely with a 3rd party vendor to escalate and overcome issues within the SAP environment. Your technical know-how will give you the expertise to prioritise issues, solve complex problems and identify potential disasters before they occur.

Key Responsibilities;

• Guide architecture decisions based on industry standards and best practices
• Influence and plan the maintenance of technical application support and updates
• Manage the relationship between the company and technical support partners providing technical support to the environment.
• Estimate and plan work effort relating to SAP Basis activities and Technical architecture components
• Advise on technical approach for all systems integrating to SAP

Key Skills

• SAP Basis in a broad SAP environment
• Experience with S/4Hana
• Experience with HEC, AWS or Azure environments
• Experience as a lead
