SAP System Specialist (SAP WM/MM/IM)
An opportunity for a SAP System Specialist (SAP WM/MM/IM) to join a dynamic and progressive business who are at the forefront of automated and robotic warehouse technologies. This will be a permanent role based in Auckland.

The company, a leader in the field globally, has just completed at set up a brand new state of the art warehouse based in Auckland. The warehouse is fully automated and robotic, technology rarely seen in New Zealand, which is heavily integrated into their SAP solution
This role will be the first point of contact for all operation staff who use SAP as part of their day to day job to raise any issues or queries with. We are looking for someone who understand SAP well and can troubleshoot any issues but also someone who can train staff and work with IT to fine tune any SAP processes.
Responsibilities include:
- Working with key stakeholders in order to drive operational improvement
- Bring support and guidance to the operational team
- System expertise and knowledge, both in day to day operations and data communication between different systems
- Undertake system health checks and run performance reports
- Problem solve system alert issues
- Comprehend technical specifications and processes, including functional design documents, interface specifications and material flow diagrams
- Lead all areas of change management, including planning, change authorisation, deployment and post change reviews
- Shift work will be required
Skills Required
- Must have strong end user skills in SAP WM, MM and Inventory
- Experience working within an automation and/or robotic warehouse environment would be highly regarded
- Extensive background in FMCG, Manufacturing or Logistics/Supply Chain operations
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- A positive and proactive approach to problem solving
- Proven ability to show initiative and follow through on areas of responsibility
- Experience working with warehouse automation will be looked on favourably
