SAP Security Consultant – Permanent Role – Melbourne
We are currently seeking a SAP Security Consultant to join our client in Melbourne on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work across a wide variety of projects, enhancements, and ongoing SAP initiatives, while also preparing for an upcoming SAP S/4HANA upgrade in the not-too-distant future.
This role offers great exposure across multiple areas of the business and the chance to work in a collaborative environment where your expertise will make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain SAP Security across various SAP landscapes (ECC, BW, SRM, CRM, PI/PO, Solution Manager, etc.).

Design, implement, and maintain user roles and authorisations in line with business requirements.

Provide security support and guidance for projects, system enhancements, and change requests.

Assist in audit and compliance activities, ensuring SAP security controls meet regulatory and business standards.

Contribute to the preparation and planning for the upcoming SAP S/4HANA upgrade.

Collaborate closely with functional and technical teams to resolve security issues.
Skills and Experience Required:

Strong experience as a SAP Security Consultant in complex SAP environments.

Hands-on experience in user and role administration across multiple SAP modules.

Experience with SAP GRC Access Control (ARM, ARA, BRM, EAM) highly regarded.

Solid understanding of SOX, audit, and compliance requirements within SAP environments.

Knowledge of security best practices in SAP, including segregation of duties (SoD).

Previous involvement in SAP upgrade or transformation projects (S/4HANA exposure an advantage).

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
