SAP Program Manager

The Role

Our client is seeking an SAP Program Manager for a large SAP S4 HANA project for an initial 12 months, based in Auckland. You will work with internal team members, System Integrators and other third-party providers to assure that the project is planned and executed successfully.

This role requires an excellent understanding of SAP S4 HANA systems, involving system landscape design, Upgrades and Consolidation. The project involves a template roll out across multiple business units within the enterprise, bringing all business areas onto an S4 HANA platform and managing and executing organisation change activities.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading the end to end planning, execution and delivery of the program
• Ensure robust project governance is in place across schedule management, risk and issue management
• Program resource management and team management
• Overseeing financials to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting against budget
• Creation and maintenance of program and project management artefacts
• Support the project sponsor by ensuring the program delivers benefits and outcomes in line with the approved business case

Skills & Attributes

• A solid career in Project/Program Management experience with a considerable amount of time spent in SAP projects
• Completed at least 1 full end to end S4 HANA implementation from planning to go-live
• Personally, you will have strong communication/ interpersonal skills, be a natural leader, be results focussed, have a calm demeanour and have the energy and enthusiasm to motivate a team.
