SAP IBP Functional Consultant – Australia
We’re looking for an experienced SAP IBP Functional Consultant to join our team and play a key role in shaping and delivering cutting-edge IBP solutions across the business. This role offers the opportunity to work across end-to-end SAP IBP implementations, influencing both the functional and technical design to drive real business impact.
You’ll work closely with stakeholders and system integration partners, ensuring best practice, high performance, and sustainable solutions.
Candidates can be based in Sydney or Melbourne.
What you’ll be doing
In-house Consulting

Identify and deliver the best-fit IBP and BTP solutions to meet business needs.

Champion standard SAP functionality, minimising customisation and maximising value.

Set and own IBP functional and technical standards across integration and development.
Requirements & Solution Design

Partner with stakeholders to capture, prioritise, and translate requirements into IBP solutions.

Lead blueprinting/mapping workshops to align business processes with IBP and BTP capabilities.

Recommend and design solutions that balance business outcomes with performance, usability, and scalability.
Implementation & Configuration

Configure and implement SAP IBP modules and BTP enablers, applying agile, waterfall, or hybrid methods.

Define security profiles and role requirements across IBP and integrated SAP platforms (ECC/S4, BTP).

Provide expert guidance on IBP best practices and integrations.

Support API configuration and integration activities where required.
Additional responsibilities
Testing, training, and ongoing support for business users.
About you
You’ll bring:

Strong hands-on experience in SAP IBP functional consulting (Demand, Supply, Response, Inventory or equivalent modules).

Experience leading solution design and implementation activities.

Knowledge of SAP BTP and system integration concepts.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

A proactive, consultative approach with the ability to influence outcomes.
