Finance Architect (Budgeting, Planning and Forecasting and SAP BPC)

Our client is about to embark on a large scale finance transformation project and are looking for an experienced Finance Architect with skills across multiple applications and a broad business knowledge of financials.  This is a 6 month contract role and can be based anywhere, but would require weekly travel for the right candidate.

In this role, you will be required to work closely with the business to enable the strategic uplift of the company’s overall finance capabilities. The successful person will need to completely evaluate their existing budgeting, Planning, Forecasting, Reporting and overall finance solution and then help define what the future state looks like including; system and business process architecture, vendor selection and overall relationship building with key stakeholders.

Skill requirements:

• At least 10+ years’ experience working as a Financial Architect leading architecture development (business, data and technology) on complex transformation projects
• Extensive experience working in a SAP environments and other large ERP's
• Must have working knowledge across SAP BPC (Budgeting and Planning)
• Experience in a business partner role supporting corporate finance teams
• Experience working with system integrators, multiple vendors and business stakeholders
• Experience in Agile delivery methodologies
