SAP ABAP/BTP Developer (RAP Focus)

Contract: 6-Month Initial Contract

Location: Remote (Australia-wide)

About the Role:

Are you an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with a deep understanding of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and a passion for working with the Restful ABAP Programming (RAP) model? We're seeking a talented professional to join our team on a 6-month initial contract, with the possibility of extension. This role offers the flexibility to work from anywhere in Australia, making it ideal for those who value a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain SAP ABAP applications within the SAP BTP environment.
• Leverage the RAP model to create scalable, high-performance, and future-proof solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement innovative solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance in the adoption and implementation of SAP BTP technologies.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to ensure optimal application performance.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, deliver technical solutions, and provide ongoing support.

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 8-10 years' experience in SAP ABAP development, with a strong focus on SAP BTP in recent proejcts.
• Proficiency in the RAP model, with demonstrable experience in developing RAP-based applications.
• Solid understanding of SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Fiori, and CDS views.
• Experience with OData services and integration with SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
