The Role
Our client is a large FMCG client. They are looking for a project manager to work on 3 key finance initiatives. This is an initial 6 month contract, located in their inner city Melbourne office.
Duties
Your role will be to summarise the people, process and technology considerations for each of the initiatives below, including dependencies, and develop a medium-long term plan for implementation
- Delegation of Authority Framework Review and Re-Implementation

- Current state mapping/analysis already completed
- Requires review of people, process tech considerations for standardisation across BU's, functions and hierarchy across the business

- Non-Financial Approvals Simplification

- 8 key initiatives identified to either eliminate or simplify process approvals across the organisation
- Current state process mapping needs to be completed
- Implementation plan to be built

- Group Finance Output Simplification

- Task to reduce Group Finance outputs (reports, artefacts etc.)
- Analysis and planning will largely be completed by the Group Finance team, they just require PM support on timelines, dependencies etc.

Skills Required
- Minimum 10+ years' experience as a Project Manager, with proven experience managing Finance projects
- Experience with Finance more broadly (i.e. an ability to speak the same language as the Finance team)
- Experience with SAP, Dynamics (not essential, but helpful for current state), Power Platform (Power BI etc.)
- Experience working in cross-functional teams (i.e. Finance, Process, Digital)
- Strong Stakeholder Management skills
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
