Our client is seeking experienced Outage Scheduler and Outage Planner professionals to join their dynamic Generation team on site in Perth. These roles are pivotal in ensuring the efficient planning, scheduling, and coordination of operational and maintenance outages, supporting the reliable delivery of power across Western Australia.
Duration: 12 months (with potential for extension or permanent)
Rate: $55.00 hourly inclusive of superannuation
Location: Perth (South Metro area)
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule, plan, and coordinate major maintenance and operational outages.
- Develop and maintain detailed work scopes, schedules, and work breakdown structures.
- Organise resources, logistics, and contractors for internal and external work.
- Manage service contracts, tender processes, and vendor communications.
- Prepare budgets and assist with strategic and rotational spares management.
- Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, contractors, OEMs, and suppliers.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Trade certificate or relevant qualification in generation or similar industry.
- Proven experience using SAP and project/scheduling tools such as MS Project or Primavera.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, work management, and contracting techniques.
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Class C Driver’s Licence.
Preferred:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.
- 10+ years’ experience in electricity generation plant operations and maintenance.
