Our client is an industry leader, seeking a Data Migration Consultant / Analyst to work on a critical eCommerce project. This is an initial 6 months contract, with possibility of extension. They offer a flexible work environment, generally 2 days onsite in the CBD office. This an urgent role, ideally they seek to bring someone onboard before Christmas.
Skills & Experience Required;
- Demonstrated experience both shaping and leading data streams of work (including Cleansing / Hierarchy / Migration)
- Experience with managing data migration projects that have involved multiple on-prem and cloud applications
- Good working knowledge of project methodologies (both Agile and Waterfall).
- Experienced working with complex distributed databases and data sources.
- Able to work independently to drive outcomes and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills - including the ability to describe data management principles and technical information to non-technical people
- Previous responsibility for the reconciliation, validation and checking of data uploaded
- Experience taking the lead on the data catch up processes during cutover
- Able to work well in a fast-paced environment and get up to speed quickly on an in-flight program.
- Past experience in Retail (B2B) and/or with SAP technology (ERP / Commerce Cloud) would be highly regarded.
