About the company
Our client is a boutique consultancy service delivering technology and transformation, application services and system integration project delivery. Work within the Australian federal government on one of the largest SAP ERP implementations in the Southern Hemisphere and help transition this government department into a single SAP platform to increase their capabilities.
About the role
Working with the broader ERP project and change management team, you will play a key role in establishing how ready the organization is for go live. Responsibilities include:
- Manage the business readiness assessment tracker and provide updates and reports to senior leadership on the status of the various elements of the tracker and business
- Coordinate actions to keep teams on track to complete on time
- Propose potential risk assessments on the ability to Go Live to senior management on items that may not be delivered or delivered to schedule
- Support the cutover team members on administrative tasks including management of the project management system
- Coordinate meetings with key stakeholders, monitoring progress of action items, preparation or coordination of meeting briefs, reports, submissions, minutes, and other correspondence
- Complete research and analysis to support cutover activities and inform project decision making
Skills & experience:
- Experience in managing readiness assessments for a large scale ERP implementation such as SAP or Oracle
- Understanding of managing risks, issues and changes on large scale IT projects
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with initiative to drive activities to completion and meet deadlines
- Previous experience working in Business Analyst roles highly desirable
- A strong collaborator and ability to work in a team
- Must hold Australian Citizenship
