Business Analyst – Sales and Marketing
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a large business initiative across sales and marketing functions. This role will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, define future-state processes, and ensure solutions are aligned with business objectives. This is an initial 6 month contract role based in Melbourne with a definite opportunity for extension.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements from key stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops, playback sessions, and review forums to ensure alignment between business and technical teams.
- Support solution design activities and validate designs against business requirements.
- Coordinate and assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning and execution.
- Capture future-state business processes from user stories and review sessions, then document
- Support requirements elicitation, backlog refinement, and ongoing validation throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst working in business projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.
- Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into clear functional specifications.
- Process modelling expertise, with experience documenting end-to-end processes.
- Requirements management experience, including elicitation, traceability, backlog refinement, and validation against solution designs.
- Collaborative approach, effective in workshops and working with executives, project teams, and change managers.
