We are seeking an experienced Procurement Analyst to join a high-performing Procurement & Supply Chain team based onsite in Parramatta.

This is a hands-on contract role focused on data-driven decision making, inventory optimisation, supplier pricing analysis, and improving procurement reporting visibility across the business.

🔎 The Role

As Procurement Analyst, you will support procurement and supply chain operations by delivering actionable insights, improving reporting capability, and strengthening inventory management processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain procurement dashboards and reports to provide clear visibility of key metrics

• Interpret data and trends to support procurement and supply chain decision making

• Analyse inventory levels and supply trends to optimise stock holdings and reduce slow-moving and obsolete inventory

• Coordinate slow-moving and obsolete stock reviews with Category Managers

• Conduct root cause analysis of stock-outs and work with Buyers to implement corrective actions

• Maintain accurate vendor, item, and inventory replenishment master data within the ERP system

• Analyse supplier price changes and assess financial impact to the business

• Ensure supplier pricing remains accurate and up to date within the ERP

• Identify products suitable for overseas sourcing based on stock turns, MOQs, and container optimisation

• Generate meaningful reports to improve business visibility and performance tracking

✅ About You

• Proven experience in a Procurement Analyst, Supply Chain Analyst, or similar analytical role

• Strong Excel skills (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)

• Experience working with ERP systems

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability

• Ability to interpret data and communicate insights clearly to stakeholders

• Experience in inventory optimisation and supplier pricing analysis highly regarded

• Comfortable working onsite full-time in Parramatta
