About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced SAP SD Business Analyst to join a leading FMCG client in Melbourne. This is a contract role focused on the Order to Cash (O2C) process mapping and simplification, with the primary goal of consolidating and enhancing business processes within the organization.
As part of this project, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and IT experts to map current processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement streamlined solutions that align with the company’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the analysis and mapping of the current Order to Cash processes, identifying inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for consolidation.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Develop and propose simplification strategies to optimize O2C processes, leveraging your expertise in SAP SD.
- Work with IT teams to design and implement solutions that enhance system performance and support business process improvements.
- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and provide guidance to end-users to ensure successful adoption of new processes.
- Act as the bridge between business teams and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and smooth project delivery.
- Produce detailed documentation and reports to support project milestones and deliverables.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience as a SAP SD Business Analyst with a deep understanding of Order to Cash (O2C) processes.
- Proven track record in process mapping, simplification, and optimization within an SAP environment.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into practical solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Previous experience in the FMCG sector is highly desirable.
