Quarterly Crunch Q3

Finishing the quarter off strong!! The start of 2021 did not have the impact we would have liked, but February and March made up for it with some excellent results.

So, what skill did we place most of? What skill was highly sort after? Is the SAP market hot… or not?

Place your bets because it’s time to find out…

To compare, here is the Q2 (FY20/21) Quarterly Crunch and here is Q3 for last year (financial year 19/20).

To recap, we give you Speller’s actual sales for the quarter. I don’t share my own opinions (or excuses!) or what we believe to be the reasons behind the results. Sometimes, especially in this online age, we hear too many opinions and it’s nice to be able to draw your own. But if you want our opinion then feel free to comment and share your own thoughts.

We had a slow start to the year with January seeing some less than favourable results. We hit 40% of target for January, so we had some serious work ahead of us. February was a much stronger month reaching and exceeding of target with 160%, and March was also another great month exceeding target with 110%.

Overall, for the quarter we stand at 103% of target which was a great result in the end. This time last year we reached 87% of target in January, 73% in February, 40% in March and 85% for the entire Quarter. All in all, 2021 is looking much more positive.

What are the top 5 roles we placed in the Quarter?

What % were Permanent vs Contract in Quarter 3?

In Q3 14.76% of all placements were for permanent roles and 85.24% were contract.

How else can we measure how busy the market was?

Let’s look at the number of requirements we received in during the Quarter.

Q3.png

Speller International received a total of 101 vacant SAP job positions to fill throughout the Quarter, with 102 vacancies for Q2 and 82 in Q1. Those positions were across our 3 divisions (SAP IT, SAP Change and Training and SAP Corporate Services) as well as being across Australia and NZ. However, the majority of these roles were for February and March which indicates the market is hotting up.
