Nick’s Corner – June 2015
Posted on June 2015 By Speller International
What a big month for Speller International! After 8 years on Lygon Street we have returned home to our origins in the Carlton Clocktower, literally doubling our office space and gaining floor to ceiling windows with beautiful city views. And while an office move in itself isn’t such a big deal (unless of course you are Project Coordinator, Lechée or Office Manager Shannon – more on that later), a new office offers huge potential for growth for Speller International as well as its employees.
The first of these opportunities is the newly appointed position of SAP Resource Lead and it is with great pride that I congratulate Scott Anstey on his promotion! Scott has been part of the Candidate Manager team for over 5 years and has always been happy to take team members under his wing and show them the ropes. His knowledge of the SAP market, his patience and ability to guide and support his team members are what will make Scott a great success in his new role! Congratulations Scott!
For Speller International, the move allows for further expansion in each of our 3 divisions (SAP IT; SAP Change, Training and Documentation and Corporate Services) whereby we are able to expand on our current scope of services offered to our clients and candidates, while maintaining the same personalised style you are accustomed to. As we grow, our values and commitment to exemplary service will not change.
I would like to say a big thank you to Lechée who dedicated 6 months of her workload to managing the entire “office move”, coordinating builders and electricians, IT and phone support, movers, painters and all the other items that go into a full office renovation and move. I would also like to thank Shannon who worked with Lechée on the entire office pack and physical move – what they achieved in 48 hours a few weekends ago was massive and Im very grateful for their efforts. Thank you for an amazing job!
I am really excited for what the future holds in our new office! While our day to day tasks don’t change, we can now put long term goals into place that weren’t possible before and I feel the sky is our limit to what we can achieve with the great team working at Speller International!
