​Its been a busy July ‘14 here at Speller International, for some of which I was away on leave. It was great to return and have the office humming along under the management of Judy Cole who I am proud to announce was recently promoted to Sales Director at Speller International. Congratulations Judy!

Also a big congratulations to Senior Account Manager Dara Dennis who welcomed his first child, the beautiful Ella Rose! With a continued smile from ear to ear, fatherhood clearly agrees with him!

The last few days of July was spent launching the 14/15 financial year. A time for reflection on the year gone, assessing how we tracked against our goals and targets and setting new ones for the year ahead – it’s also a great team building and bonding few days. We reworked the standard format of the launch and invited an external leadership coach to guide us through Day 1. Insightful and informative, we looked at the Speller International brand as a whole, and our own individual brands, how we are perceived in the market and how we can add value to our clients and contractors. Feedback is always welcomed and you’ll hear more from us in this sphere in the coming months. Judy and I then surprised the team by whisking them off to Hobart at the end of Day 1 for a bit more training and lots of Hobart fun. Energised for the year ahead, it was a great few days had by all!

We are excited here in the office for the arrival of our new SAP Change, Training and Documentation Account Manager, Chris Oughton who begins with the Speller Team later this month. Chris has over 7 years of recruitment experience, having established his career on building strong relationships across a myriad of industries. He had worked on a consultative and collaborative basis in HR, Change Management, Learning and Development and Training amongst other areas and is destined to be an asset to the team.
