Lead One of Australia's Largest Payroll Transformation Programs
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Solution Architect with deep expertise in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) to join a landmark whole-of-government transformation program.
This multi-year initiative will modernise payroll, workforce management, rostering and safety systems across multiple agencies and entities, supporting a workforce of up to 50,000 employees, volunteers and contingent workers.
Working alongside an SI and senior stakeholders, you will take ownership of the end-to-end payroll architecture, helping shape and deliver a complex enterprise-scale transformation involving SAP SuccessFactors ECP, UKG/Kronos Workforce Management and EHS Solution.
This is a rare opportunity to influence the design of a large-scale government payroll solution from the earliest stages through to rollout and adoption.
The Role
As the Lead SAP SuccessFactors ECP Solution Architect, you will provide strategic architecture leadership across the program, ensuring a cohesive and scalable payroll solution is delivered across a highly complex multi-agency environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own and define the end-to-end SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) architecture
- Provide strategic solution design and architecture governance across the program
- Partner with Accenture, program leadership and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery outcomes
- Design and oversee integrations between SAP SuccessFactors ECP and UKG/Kronos Workforce Management
- Lead architectural decision-making across payroll, workforce management and related platforms
- Design solutions supporting multiple payroll models, awards, enterprise agreements and workforce structures
- Establish architecture standards, governance frameworks and design principles
- Support phased deployment, rollout and transformation activities
- Provide guidance on payroll modernisation, process standardisation and enterprise integration strategies
- Contribute to program planning, design workshops and implementation roadmaps
About You
You are an experienced SAP payroll architect who has successfully delivered large-scale workforce transformation programs and understands the complexities of enterprise and government payroll environments.
Essential Experience
- Extensive experience as a SAP Solution Architect
- Deep expertise in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP)
- Strong experience designing enterprise payroll solutions at scale
- Experience delivering large transformation programs involving multiple business units, entities or agencies
- Strong understanding of payroll architecture, payroll operations and workforce management processes
- Experience integrating payroll platforms with workforce management, rostering or time and attendance solutions
- Exposure to UKG/Kronos Workforce Management or similar platforms
- Proven stakeholder engagement experience across executive, business and technical teams
- Strong architecture governance, solution design and integration expertise
- Ability to operate within complex and evolving program environments
Highly Regarded
- SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) experience
- Experience with enterprise workforce management solutions
- Familiarity with Safety Suite or workforce compliance platforms
- Experience supporting large-scale payroll transformations involving 25,000+ employees
- Knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards and workforce compliance requirements
