SAP MM/PM Functional Consultant – BAU Support
Our highly valued client is seeking an experienced SAP PM/MM Support Consultant to join their dynamic team based in Brisbane or Melbourne.
In this vital role, you will predominantly manage SAP Materials Management (MM) functions, including procurement services, inventory control, and reporting. You will also provide secondary support for SAP Plant Maintenance (PM), focusing on maintenance planning and work order management. This position involves handling day-to-day SAP operational support with minimal supervision, ensuring uninterrupted business processes across critical functions.
3 Month initial contract based in Brisbane CBD, hybrid working.
This role is suited to a self-sufficient professional with strong SAP MM expertise, a good understanding of the PM module, and proficiency in S/4HANA environments. You will be proactive, reliable, and capable of independently navigating business-as-usual challenges while maintaining high process standards and fostering collaboration across multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day SAP MM and PM support to ensure procurement and maintenance processes run smoothly.
- Manage inventory systems and develop SQL-based operational reports supporting business needs.
- Perform minor SAP system configuration to optimize functionalities without ABAP programming.
- Partner with global and local stakeholders to contribute to SAP process and strategy enhancements.
- Document system configurations and support activities to maintain knowledge continuity.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong expertise in SAP MM module with a focus on procurement and inventory management.
- Good operational knowledge of SAP PM module.
- Experience working with SAP S/4HANA preferred.
- Ability to work autonomously with strong ownership of tasks.
- SQL reporting skills and experience in system configuration.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven stability and longevity in previous roles demonstrating reliability.
