SAP Development & Integration Lead – SAP S/4HANA Upgrade

Fixed-Term Contract | Melbourne (Hybrid)

Speller International is working with a leading organisation to secure a hands-on SAP Development & Integration Lead to play a pivotal role in a major SAP S/4HANA upgrade program.

This is a critical position where you’ll act as the technical backbone of the program, driving delivery across multiple workstreams while remaining close to the technology.

The Role

You will take ownership of end-to-end technical delivery, ensuring all SAP development, integrations, and dependencies are aligned and delivered successfully within a fast-paced, complex environment.

This role is ideal for someone who combines deep ABAP expertise with proven leadership across SAP programs — particularly within SAP S/4HANA upgrades.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and drive technical delivery across the S/4HANA upgrade program
• Act as the primary technical point of contact across all workstreams
• Oversee and manage cross-module integrations and dependencies
• Work closely with Finance and Supply Chain / Logistics (PP, MM, SD, etc.) teams
• Provide hands-on SAP ABAP leadership, guiding development standards and delivery
• Coordinate across global teams and stakeholders in multiple time zones
• Ensure delivery remains on track, aligned, and commercially focused
• Quickly embed into the environment and deliver impact from day one

What We’re Looking For

• Expert-level SAP ABAP background with hands-on development capability
• Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA programs (ideally upgrades / conversions)
• Strong background in technical leadership / delivery roles
• Demonstrated experience managing complex integrations across SAP landscapes
• Solid exposure to Supply Chain / Logistics modules (MM, PP, SD, EWM, etc.)
• Understanding of Finance integration points
• Exposure to SAP BW highly regarded
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Comfortable working in fast-moving, globally distributed environments
