PMO Analyst – ASAP Start!

Location: Sydney (Hybrid)

We are seeking a PMO Analyst to join a high-profile organisation on an initial 6-month contract, with an ASAP start. This role sits within a well-established PMO supporting a large portfolio of programs and projects, with a strong pipeline of work extending over the next 2+ years.

The Role

As a PMO Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of a major Program of work, working closely with senior stakeholders and project teams to ensure coordination, visibility, and alignment across multiple workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the PMO Manager, Program Director, Project Managers, and key stakeholders as required
• Monitor and track progress across multiple projects to ensure alignment with timelines and objectives
• Facilitate communication between project teams to ensure clarity on milestones, deliverables, and deadlines
• Maintain a central repository of program artefacts, ensuring documentation is organised, current, and accessible
• Provide administrative and reporting support to ensure smooth PMO operations

About You 

• 3-5 years of experience in program or project coordination, ideally in IT, systems migration, or IT transformation programs.
• Prior experience maintaining Project / Program registers (RAID, Change Requests, Deliverables, Resources etc.)
• Experience preparing quality and accurate reports, within the agreed timeframes.
• Experience with large-scale IT transitions, infrastructure changes, or IT system upgrades is preferred.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., PPM, MS Project, Jira, etc.) and Google Suite.
• Experience with ITIL or similar frameworks for IT service management.
