The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with the Communications Program Director, System Integrators, Business users, Technical IT professionals, Operational staff, Industrial Relations staff and vendors in identifying and bringing strategic initiatives from concept to implementation with a key focus on customer experience and benefits realisation.
The Business Analyst will initially report directly to Communications Program Director and will follow PMO governance and structure.

Required Professional Skills:
• A comprehensive knowledge of BA practices across Waterfall and Agile
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines and prioritise work
• A motivated self-starter with excellent organisational & planning skills
• Communicative, collaborative, ability to work within highly challenging environment, have a “can do” attitude, positive, flexible, good listening skills, adaptive and receptive to change, open and willing to share knowledge with others, good conflict management skills.
• Experience with Mobile Data systems & equipment preferred, but not essential.
• Experience in a Government, Non-for Profit and Unionised environments, would be an added benefit
Role & Responsibilities:
• Understand and document the integration between the solution and other systems.
• Working closely with the business to identify, analyse and document business, system requirements and processes
• Creation and management of the Requirements Traceability Matrix & Business requirements Document.
• Working closely with the various teams/vendor in analysing and designing appropriate solutions that meet the agreed business requirements and project scope.
• Develop a Business Case in support of a Mobility Solutions project.
• Assist with tender documentation, evaluation and procurement.
• Creating and managing Functional specification document, solution Design document, Integration Design and Technical design doc.
• Working within a Project environment with tight constrains of quality, time, costs scope and political sensitiveness.
• Documenting the Testing Approach, managing and conducting application and integration testing. Creation and execution of test cases,
• Management of User Acceptance Testing.
• Work with business stakeholders to develop new or revised business policies, processes and procedures to support the deployed solution.
• Putting together training materials and conducting training sessions with end users.
• Promoting and managing systems change and creating, implementing Change Management tools.
