Today we sit down and chat to our newest team member, Alexia Blye.
Alexia is Speller’s Office Manager, and so we ask her a little bit about her history, what she is looking forward to in the role, and how she spends her free time. Let’s hear from Alexia!
Tell us a bit about your history, Alexia.
Originally from Sydney, and about to reach my third year in Melbourne – I have just come on board with Speller. I have varied background focusing on support and administration and most recently have come from an advertising and marketing background within residential real estate and development. Prior to real estate I was in a varied role at an online wine retailer, looking after customer service, stock, suppliers and anything that came up!
Having recently joined the Speller Team, what are you most looking forward to in your role as Office Manager?
I’m looking forward to learning the inner workings of Speller International, streamline processes to work as efficiently as possible and getting to know the team!
Where do we find you in your downtime?
On weekends you’ll find me either at a fresh food market, in my kitchen cooking up a feast for friends or in a pub courtyard enjoying a cold one.
What does 2019 hold both professionally and personally for you?
2019 has been a busy one for me professionally and personally – professionally I’ve made an industry change and am looking forward to learning all I can. Personally, this year I’ve gone through a major kitchen renovation at home, a 5-week European trip and a number of trips interstate for family and friends. I’m looking forward to laying low while planning my next overseas vacation.
